School History | St. Peter's R.C Primary School Cardiff

	This is St. Peter’s Girls school in 1905. It was one of the first Catholic schools in Wales! There were six female teachers in the school in 1905. They were: Catherine Garrard, Nora Hackett, Cecilia Martin, Rose Hodges, Margaret Lane, Elizabeth Martin.
	There was also a woman called Ellen Houghton. She was known as the mistress of the school. This is a picture of the teachers in St. Peter’s. As you can see they dressed formally and very smartly! Our teachers today are dressed much more colourfully!
	This is a picture of the boy’s school in 1905. Their uniform is different from now. They wore a collared shirt, a sweatshirt and trousers.
